No. 2: Face Scrubbies

 Face Scrubbie

For my next project, I'm looking for a pattern worked in around. I found it in the spruce's 25 easy pattern, facial scrubbie.

Materials

These are the materials I used:
  • 5.00mm hook
  • Worsted weight yarn
  • Scissors

This may not be the best one for me. I apologize if it is a little too

Conclusion

First of all, I apologize that it took a while to post this blog because I attended a bookkeeping training programme and a little bit procrastination. Overall this pattern is easier than the first one I've tried.

First Blog Post

First Blog and Project

Hi, everyone.

Since this is my very first blog let's start with a brief introduction of this blog. This where I post about my hobbies and hopefully earn some money from doing it since the pandemic made it hard for me (and everyone else) to work. Alright, let's get started!

For my first project for this blog, I'd decided on washcloth crochet, which is usually given as a beginner-friendly project. I actually found this pattern by Google search 'crochet pattern for beginners' and one of the first links is this, 25 Easy Crochet Patterns for Beginners by The Spruce Crafts and I chose the second one from their list, Washcloth Set Crochet Pattern by Cream of the Crop Crochet. The pattern can be found here.

Before I start my project, I read the pattern first and then try to envision them either on paper or using a program such as Stich Fiddle.

Materials:

  • Crochet Hook size: US9 or 5.5mm
  • Scissors
  • Thread Needle
  • Yarn Weight: Worsted or wpi 9-11. Click here for the wpi.

Progress:

Here are the photos of my progress every hour.

1 hour

I apologize if some photos are a little dark because it was taken during a rainy afternoon

Row 4

After an hour has passed, I drink a cup of water.

2nd hour

After an hour I'm pre-occupied with other things like chores, studying Japanese, and among other things. So I continued my project at a local cafe.

I, unfortunately, forgot to count the row so I estimated it to be at Row 26

After that, I had a cookie cup latte

Finishing Touches

The finished product

After the project is finished, I weave in the ends according to this video by Knots and Needles.

And that concludes my first blog. I hope it was at least enjoyable and thank you for visiting.
